I'm not sure if I can pack anything that is a "cure" for homesickness, but I am definitely trying to find things to pack that will help me cope with the distance. I am failing miserably.
Things that I am assuming will be missed once I am in Korea (not in any significant order):
- family
- friends
- steak (since I hear that red meat is rare and expensive)
- my guitars (I'm not sure if I will be able to bring it on the plane)
- being in a reasonable similar time zone
- mexican food
- my car
- TEXAS FOOTBALL (it gets caps, just deal)
- IM football
- Authentic Korean food
- Cheap Korean food
- Buying a pair of glasses
- Buying a nice coat
- Taking pictures
- Making new friends
- Getting a clean slate
- Teaching little kids
- Improving my Korean
- Running
- Hiking
- Learning more about myself, in the context of a new country
